How to play:

Hold space to spin and rise. Pres W, A, S and D to move while holding space.

A game by DThePro and Maname.

In Samara, you play as the wind, guiding a maple seed across a 250-year generational story. It starts in the past, where you have to save a single seed from a tree burning down during an attack. Fast forward to the present day, and you return to that exact same tree—now old and dying—to look after her final two seeds. The heart of the game comes down to a personal choice. Do you let her offspring fly far away into a busy city, or do you plant them close so she can watch her family grow where it all began? It’s a short, peaceful, and bittersweet indie game about family roots and learning to let go.

Issues on web:

  • Lower render resolution.
  • Forward rendering (as opposed to Forward+ on PC), causing some issues with shadows.
  • Lower overall performance.

That was a very cute little game. Planted the last seed up in the snowy area by the cabin.
I did lose at first because I didn't realize that wasd was a thing and thought it was just spacebar, but once I figured it out it was very chill.

I Absolutley love this game but i feel like it takes to long to get into the game play most people might not play for more than 30 seconds

I enjoyed it a lot. I ended up planting myself on the campfire in the final level xD
